IDENTITY OF SHADOW

PART ONE

He feels discomfort as he has drunk a cup of coffee made by a devil.
He is a person who hates his shadow. He thinks...
"Shadow needn't for me." For him, shadow is a thing which can appear only when the light hits on his body. He says ... "Hey, Shadow! Infect you are just a dependent. If I don't exist, you too will not be there."

"Yes, you're right", shadow replies steadily. The more he sees his shadow's calm and stolid manner, the more he angers. As a result, he says, "Then, you need to know that I've never wanted you, anyway. I hate you icy and blackly shape and the worst is that you follows me all the time."
"I'm your shadows! That's why I have to follow you. That's natural."
"Shut up!! The only thing I want is 'FREEDOM'. I don't want the sense of burden that something always glue behind me."
"I WANT TO BE ALONE!!" He banishes his shadow.
The tree beside them which has heard all what they've said tries to mediate them, "I don't want to deny that shadow is a burden which glues behind you. Although it is an inevitable truth that that things depends on you, you shouldn't banish him.
Because the relationship between the dependent and the host is not one way relationship as you think. The oblige each other. For example, people relax in my shadow and so they respect and value me (as the owner of the shadow) more and more. Consequently, they don't try to destroy me."
Despite the tree's comfort, his face is still tensing up. The tree sighs slowly in upset and says the last words.
"My son, take a responsibility upon something, may be it's a burden for you but it is sure that people will respect and value you more."
    He shakes his head.
"I'm not the one who wants the respect from people but the one who wants to be free."
He leaves out from the tree's shadow and go ahead into the sunny land. Now ... he has no 'SHADOW'.

PART TWO

He walks in the town along the bright sunny road. Under the sun, he is the only one (without shadow).
"Hey! Look at that man!! There’s no shadow from his body."
"Oh... That’s right. God!.. Is he a human being?"
    "May be a devil .... Run! ... Run! ..."
All the citizens are in upset as soon as they see him. However, he does not care. He walks in calmly step by step.
Actually, his destination is to meet his lover. Unfortunately, the way of his lover's welcome is not the same as he hoped.
"You look strange ... Ahh ... I see, you have no shadow thought you stand in the light  ... what's wrong? ..."
"Yes, I have no shadow now and I'm the man without any bond."
"Ahh..!! You are a GHOST! Bot a man!" His lover turns around into the house in a horrible scream. He stands still ...
"I'm the. man, real man, really 'FREE MAN'."
"No, No...!! You are not a man, Go!! . Don't come to me. STAY AWAY!!!"
Under the circumstance of surprise, he asks ..
"The, what's the real meaning of 'MAN' that you refer?"
Just the slam of the shutting door is the only answer for his question.

PART THREE

He stands lonely at the center of town. As he passes by, people shut and lock their houses. The shops are also closed when he turns to buy some food.
"There's a devil in the town.., no shadow comes out of his body ..."
Rumors spread rapidly through the frightened town people. Everybody watches out him with acre as a dangerous monster.
He shakes his head with upset. Now, he is a stranger among the people with shadow.
He is considering by starring into the daylight. "How about to call back my shadow ever at this time? ... Or ..."
At last ...., he makes decision.
He builds a small house without any windows.
The only source for the light is the entrance, the width of which is just enough for his body.
It comes totally dark ... when he enters and close the door.
At there ...., he stays for the whole life.
    Forever .... and .... forever
